Akrapovic Racing Line Complete Systems with Standard Mufflers for BMW come with your choice of carbon-fiber or titanium outer sleeve. The outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium, while the joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality, silicon-shielded tempered springs. This exhaust system includes a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp, and conical shaped and hydroformed header is made of stainless steel; crossover tubes may be installed on certain models. The link pipe may be cylindrical and in some models made of titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance. When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable a carbon fiber bracket is included. R1200 GS 04-06 available in Stainless/Titanium only. R 1200 S 06 available in Titanium/Carbon only.

Akrapovic Evolution/2 Line Complete Systems with Hexagonal Mufflers have the perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap made of titanium. The outlet cap is a carbon-fiber that matches the design of each bike. The joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered springs. This system includes a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp. Conical or cylindrical shaped, hydroformed header and link pipe are made of stainless steel or titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance. The crossover tubes may be installed based on the results of testing; most models come with preinstalled fitting for lambda connection. Ceramic anti-seizing grease, made especially for use with titanium, is used to prevent seizing, corrosion and excessive wear of parts of the exhaust system made of titanium (due to vibration and extreme temperatures). When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable a carbon-fiber bracket is included. Evolution 2 systems are intended only for races that allow louder exhaust systems – 107 dB. Evolution 2 systems feature a high-mount design and include a carbon fiber muffler mounting bracket. Available in Titanium/Carbon and Titanium/Titanium.

2006 Torches Across America Motorcycle Ride


This fall you may ride along with some or all of the intrastate parades, from VFM halls and civic parks to memorial sites and firefighter's lofty caves. The Motorcycle Ride will take place in the first 11 days of September with the purpose of honoring the Victims, Veterans, and Volunteers of 9-11 attack. A great number of bikers will be cruising from California to New York, Washington, The Pentagon and Pennsylvania and you are invited to join them in remembrance of homeland victims (...)

Suzuki B-king is launched

Suzuki fans all around the world are offered a naked alternative for the fabulous Hayabusa. An hour ago in Dresden, East Germany Suzuki has officially launched the long awaited B-king together with the horsepower figures that we’ve been all waiting. The enormous 1340cc engine is developing a claimed 181.5bhp. The monster was developed exactly the same time as they developed the Hayabusa engine and what a great achievement! Not what I would call the alternative for crowded cities but it sure looks like a alternative of the Segway Tango Motorcycle is a vehicle which uses the technology from the Segway but with great positive differences. Elaborated by some ingenious high school students from Canada, the Tango is a really unique motorcycle-type vehicle that uses the same balance-based technology for control. The next Honda CBF600

This motorcycle hasn't yet been released but we could find out that it will incorporate the latest CBR600RR engine in order to meet the latest emission laws. Honda is about to release the updated version of its CBF600 for 2008. As a real sport-tourer, the future CBF600 will feature the latest CBR600RR engine, the same engine that you will find in the new Hornet600. The old CBF motor, derived from an earlier CBR600 motorcycle met Euro 2 laws but not the latest standards so the engine (...)
