The American Bicycle Association (ABA) has named American Suzuki Motor Corporation the official motorcycle and ATV of the 2008 ABA BMX (bicycle motocross) Race Series. The 2008 race schedule includes 27 National events and 13 Pro series events throughout North America. Suzuki motorcycles and ATVs are a major sponsor of the 2008 ABA BMX event schedule and will be fully integrated into the BMX events nationwide. The Ducati Xerox Team is more than satisfied with the way the weekend has begun at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, with Bayliss and Fabrizio registering the second and third fastest times in this afternoon's first qualifying session. Honda Motor Company, who claims 25 percent of the US market in what concerns motorcycles, scooters and ATV sales, announced their plans to stop building motorcycles here in the States. The plant in Marysville, Ohio is not considered being as effective as the one in Kumamoto, Japan and will be expanded so it would not only cover the additional production volume, but radically increase it in order for the move to become profitable. The Dealer Expo in Indianapolis is a showcase for every major motorcycle/ATV aftermarket manufacturer in the world, and 2008 was no exception.
