A.C. Schnitzer radically transforms the already impressive BMW F800GS off-roader into a ready to hit the track hypermotard. The tuners have simply added 17-inch wheels wearing road rubber and retuned the suspensions for street use. The engine remains the same 800cc unit developing 85 horsepower, as well as the entire bike, except the previous mentioned changes and adjusting. Polaris Industries has produced a very special 2009 10th Anniversary Victory Vision Tour motorcycles in a number of 100 exemplars. That could very well be news for the motorcycle industry, but Victory pushes further this pedal and announces that the limited edition models sold out online in just 7 minutes. Motorcycle awareness days on September 13 -14, 2008 are the result of Sandia Classic's strong collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, Traffic Safety Bureau in order to show future bikers the right way into this cult. Rejoicing news was released today by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation according which motorcyclists are more and more interested in attending basic safety courses. This trims the scale as car drivers who abandoned the steering wheel for the handlebars were claimed being the cause of the increasing number of motorcycle accidents that often involved fatalities. It would be interesting to see if the numbers of bike crashes reduce in the near future as an effect of this smart action. Hopefully (...)

Riding motorcycles is all about the adventure and excitement, but safety is an issue that must be taken in consideration as well. Apparently, this female motorcycle rider does precisely that, but in a particular way. Zachary Norman of Venice, California established a land speed record in the Omega class on his electric-powered motorcycle at the Bonneville Salt Flats last week. In the first run, Zack's record was for 69.059 mph, but he also made a second run, one that was clocked at 77 mph.
