Husqvarna V1000 GT Concept

Designed by Marcus Carlsson from Sweden, the new concept is a combination between Suzuki's TL1000S and a Husqvarna roadracer from the 1930s. A ‘café-racer-going-on-superbike', as its creator likes to consider it, the machine features a donated TL1000 V-Twin front fork and engine with a futuristic looking exhaust. The rest was just labor and passion concluded in 1,200 hours of work. Don't get too caught up by the next picture. Simply scroll down and hear that engine (...)

1994 Kawasaki Ninja 250R

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

The time has finally come for me to sell my first and maybe still favorite bike. This is a 1994 Ninja 250R. It is all stock, and in excellent condition. You'll have a hard time finding a nicer '94. It has about 13,800 miles, which is super low for the year and nothing on this reliable engine. This bike has never let me down, and has a lot of recent service. Everything was done by myself, so everything is top shelf: New front tire ~1000 miles ago. New EBC grade HH brake pads front and rear ~1000 miles ago. Chain tightened/lubed ~100 miles ago. New NGK plugs ~100 miles ago. Carbs cleaned and synced ~100 miles ago. Cables lubed and adjusted ~100 miles ago. New OEM air filter ~10 miles ago. New Yuasa sealed battery ~1000 miles ago. The bad: nothing. Well, the bike will need a new rear tire in the near future. Bike has a clean title in my name on hand. OEM tool kit is included. I have one OEM key and one copy. Inspection is current as of a couple months ago. You even get a NCSU parking pass good through August 2009 Kawasaki sold this bike virtually unchanged for 19 years, so you know its quality, and parts are dime-a-dozen on eBay. Oh, and of course 70 mpg can't be beat. Call me any time, and set up a time to come check it out. 704.996.7290 (cell)
